Built in the 18th century, this beautiful house was occupied by wealthy Jewish merchants and by a sailor and its family. It took two years to refresh the house and in 2001, Dar Loulema opened its door to its guests. Located along the south-western side of the ramparts, you’ll reach Dar Loulema after walking through Essaouira’s old streets and its marvellous and colourful carpet shops.
