Dar Loulema                                                                                                                   4 Lantern - Luxury

Built in the 18th century, this beautiful house was occupied by wealthy Jewish merchants and by a sailor and its family. It took two years to refresh the house and in 2001, Dar Loulema opened its door to its guests. Located along the south-western side of the ramparts, you’ll reach Dar Loulema after walking through Essaouira’s old streets and its marvellous and colourful carpet shops. When pushing the Riad’s blue coppered door, you’ll enter a protected and out of time heaven of peace.
7 rooms and mini-suites all differently decorated: The Mogador room symbolizes Essaouira with its blue and white colours while Marrakech welcomes you within its red walls. The Majorelle room will offer you plenty of colours, honouring the famous Orientalist painter while Todra represents the warmth and the cheerfulness of the Berber traditions. In the 3rd floor, 2 terraces welcome you: the first, sunlit and protected from the wind, is ideal for breakfasts and relaxation. The second is ideal for sun baths and offers an amazing view on the Mogador Island, the beach and the port.
