When can I travel to Morocco?

You can travel anytime all year around.......Just pick the date of your travel and we will customize your trip accordingly

 

How much free time will I have?

You will be your own Boss.... you can stop where ever you would like...... you can take as much break as you would like..... Your guide will be available to you, as your tastes and temperament dictate, helping without hindering your experience.

 

How many people will be with me on the tour?

It is a customized tour for your party only......... with a guide and private car for 2 Pax and with a private luxury van for 3 Pax or more.

 

Other than the price, what is the difference between a 4-star, a 5-star hotel and a 5-star deluxe hotel?

Based on the feedback we receive from our travelers, we have found that the difference between a 4-star and a 5-star lies in the service quality, attention to detail and the number of services the hotel offer. The 5-star deluxe will have almost all the luxurious amenities you can think of.

 

What if I don't speak Arabic or French?

You will have an English speaking guide throughout the duration of the tour, who will not only provide explanations of the various sites but who will also facilitate all communications with any other constituencies. In addition, You will have a certified guide at any imperial city.

 

I want to take a tour but at the same time I am inclined to opt for a custom tour, can you help me with this?

Yes we will be more than happy to customize a special private tour according to your interest..... Basically, you decide everything from choosing the length of your journey, selecting the hotel to opting for the type of cuisine of your choice.... we can also help you and advise you to customize your tour based your budget and your taste.

 

What kind of nightlife can I expect?

Your guide will always provide options for nightlife. These options vary from location to another..... such as Casablanca, Marrakech with casinos and disco entertainment sites. In remote locations such as the Moroccan Sahara, you will experience a more traditional entertainment nightlife with the Berber while enjoying a peaceful night under tents.

 

Is Morocco a safe destination?

Morocco has one of the lowest crime rates in the world and compared to the US and Europe, is considered very safe.

 

Is there any dress code for women visiting Morocco?

No. Many women in Morocco dress just like they do in the States. You can wear anything you want. The only exception is on tours of the Mosques. To enter you will need to dress conservatively as you would to enter a church here - no shorts, tank tops, etc. As in any country, you should use discretion with your attire if you want to avoid unwanted attention.

 

Do I need a Visa to enter Morocco?

US citizens do not need a visa .... Other nationalities may need a visa to enter Morocco.

Do I need vaccinations and how is the water safe to drink?

No vaccinations are required. The tap water in the cities is safe to drink, but mineral water is recommended.

Can I plug my hair dryer or electric razor in the outlets in Morocco?

If you wish to use electric equipment purchased in the United States, you will need a converter and adapter. (Standard outlets are 220V, 50HZ though110V may be found in older constructions.)

What airline should I use?

The Royal Air Maroc, a leading international and charter airline which provides excellent service from major cities in Europe, North America and the Middle East. You can also use other airlines when deemed necessary and to meet the specific needs.... most of European  airlines fly to Morocco.

 

What languages are spoken in Morocco?

The official written language is Arabic. The main spoken language is Moroccan Arabic, an Arabic dialect that often includes French and Spanish words. French is very widely spoken throughout the country and often used to conduct business. There are also three Berber languages: Tarifit, Tamazight, and Tashelhit. All hotel staff and many merchants you will meet speak English.

 

How much money should I bring?

That all depends on how many Moroccan treasures you wish to bring home.

 

Where can I exchange my currency?

Any bank in Morocco will be more than happy to exchange your currency, as will most of the hotels you'll stay in. The Moroccan currency is the Dirham (DH).

 

Can I bring traveler's checks?

Yes you can but Credit cards are preferred over traveler's checks. You can also withdraw cash from any ATM in all major cities.

 

Do you allow smoking on tour?

That is up to you!.. it is your private tour within your private car or van..

 

Do you have to bargain for purchases?

In Morocco it is custom to barter for purchases. We've found that some people enjoy this intrinsic part of Moroccan way of life while others may not.
