Riad La Maison Bleue                                                                                                    Medina - 5 Lantern Deluxe

Riad La Maison Bleue occupies a 19th Century house. The famous Moroccan philosopher Aziz Lahbabi, nominated for the Nobel Price in 1987 was born and grew up in this house. Today, Riad La Maison Bleue consists of three interconnecting courtyards where guests feel as though they are walking through the laneways of the ancient Medina of Fès. The main courtyard, built in the Arabo-Andalusian style (Merinid Dynasty), is open to the sky and contains a swimming pool and fruit trees.
The eleven deluxe rooms and two standard rooms of the Riad are all decorated with traditional zelliges, sculpted wood, Andalusia ceilings and ancient furniture. Three terraces offer breathtaking views of the different aspects of the Medina. When the weather is warm, you’ll enjoy the different Moroccan meals on these terraces. In winter, the restaurant, set up in the covered courtyard provides the setting where you will taste the traditional home cooked dishes. The Maison Bleue’s Spa is one of the city’s best: enjoy the traditional Hammam, the black soap scrub and the Oriental beauty treatments. A fitness center as well as a swimming pool is also offered.
